omg lol this journal, I forgot I had this thing. My life got in the way...lol. I never posted much of worth here anyway.

So...yeah. My life.

I'm trying to do a couple of webcomics and a story, plus another art project, as well as all my schoolwork and guitar stuff. TOTALLY never going to work, right? Plus I never finish anything I start. Except for my schoolwork, I never even start that. I keep telling myself I will start to put in an effort but it's so hard. Dunno what to do with myself or how to get motivated to do anything.

I don't have a job or any money. Should get a job apparently. Don't want one AT ALL, it will just eat up all my time that I already don't have 'cause I spend it trying to do all of this other stuff all at once and never getting any of it done. Besides, even though I want money I don't really need it, not while I can still rely on my parents. Maybe when this year is over I'll get a job. They're all in horrible places I don't want to work though, like supermarkets and fast food joints. Ew. I want to work in a library, book shop or music shop. Those places are never offering though. But if one did I would snatch it up. I was so disappointed the last time I tried for a job at the local library and someone else got it...and apparently they turned out to be lame at it so I would have been a better choice... Damn these things...

Oh and my best friend , who I love to death, hates me. Apparently she thinks I'm going to end up going out with her ex (also best friend to both of us) and she thinks we will be bad for each other, but she must just be jealous. Whatever. I don't even want to go out with him. Besides, if we did go out I'm sure we wouldn't be bad for each other, otherwise we wouldn't be such awesome friends in the first place right? Or is that me being naive abotu stuff? Anyway, since I love her so damn much I am going to make sure we sort this out like rational people and she doesn't end up hating me forever for no good reason.

Dear god, that sounds like I have the most depressing life, but actually I'm really happy right now. I find it really hard not to feel happy about my life even if it sounds crummy. (hehe, crummy.) I'm just an optimist I guess.

I've had two dreams now where I've tried to be friendly towards the villain of a book, when I'm supposed to be, like, majorly against them.

First was Count Olaf. I was friends with the Baudelaires -- however, I was walking with the guy and I told him sometimes I enjoy his company more than the company of my friends. He looked at me weirdly and I was kinda embarrassed.

Then, get this, Lord Voldemort. I was supposed to be confronting him for a fight; instead, I told him that however bad and mean and evil he was, I couldn't help thinking he was cute. He laughed, we chatted, I felt happy and let him walk free.

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY MIIIIND. What is wrong with me that I dream about flirting with evil people (who, by the way, are sooo much older than me)?!

6. Josh Earle. Close friend of Justin (see 5.) and a fellow musical comedian. His songs are cute as, and so is he. Hooray!
7. Jason Byrne. Take a loud, crazy Irishman. Give him a microphone and a set of props. Sit back and enjoy.
8. Jazz. Swing, particularly. Mostly in musicals and that; eg. Chicago.
9. Johnny Depp. Pretty much my favourite actor, next to Alan Rickman. He's amazingly talented and very versatile.
10. Jack Sparrow. I challenge you to think of a cooler pirate captain! Ruling out Davy Jones and Barbossa, whom I love equally.

fanfiction
Why else? Fanfiction is the perfect excuse to pretend something happened in a fandom but didn't, speculate on what could have happened, or stick the characters in a completely different universe. The only problem with it is that you usually have to wade through all the teenybopper Mary-Sue crap to get to the diamonds. Still, it's almost always worth it.

roleplaying
For me, this is like writing original or fanfiction when you're lazy and you want someone to help you. Sometimes it's funner, because rather than organising the whole story yourself, you never really know how another person's character is going to react to your own character's words and actions. The funnest kind of roleplaying is done on forums, because they can go on forever and the story just keeps on building...

she: the ultimate weapon
Me and my sister borrowed this from the video shop one time. It's an anime series, and we pretty much fell in love with the graphics and the story. It's all about this girl whose body has been transformed to make her a powerful military weapon, and her relationship with this ordinary guy from school, while a big war is going on and all around them people are dying. In addition to an interesting storyline, the pictures are just beautiful.

someday's dreamers
Funny this, but this is the other anime series we borrowed from the video shop at the same time as She (see above). I think this is my preference of the two, though. It seems a little easier to get into, as there's more humour. I can barely remember hat it's about, but it centers around a girl who goes to this academy to learn how to control and give form to some sort of power she has, which she can use to help others. All the characters have their own little storylines. It's just fun.

Interestingly enough, I used to hate this man. He just grated my nerves. But if you watch enough of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, you're going to start to like all of them. So as much as he always laughs at his own, often unfunny, jokes, or has one of the most annoying gay voices I've ever heard, he just grew on me. He seems friendly, anyway.

I'm reading a book in English called After the Last Death. It's about some terrorists taking control of a bus and holding the driver and children hostage, and is quite interesting. While reading this book I came across a name, mentioned in passing, which made me stop and reread: Captain Jack Harkness. So...Is it coincidence that he shares a name with Jack of Doctror Who and Torchwood (even if that Jack stole the name), or is Jack Harkness a real person, and Russel T Davis has just really done his homework before inventing his characters?

In other.l.matters. Did anyone see the two-part thriller The Best Man? It was on not so long ago, I think on ABC. Do you know if there is a DVD available, or did you make a recording you could send to me? I know it's unlikely, but worth a try, eh?

I have a new layout which I spent AGES on so I hope it works, but I have a feeling most peoples' screens won't display it properly. This pisses me off.

I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows the other day. BEWARE! *flashing red lights* Spoilers under the cut.
